3rd Grade at Glenwood School worked on Earthquake Structures. Here are some pictures along with a couple slow motion videos. They were filmed using the SloPro app on an iPad. Another use for Spaghetti and another way to build bridges... win/win!
Here is a great challenge for students to work together. Sarah Horky of Hidden Valley had groups of 4 and working silently to build the tallest structure using all the cups in 10 minutes. I linked a couple different lesson plans.
