Here is the information about the program at Sonoma State University that Kaki McLachlan shared with some of you.
Meghan Peck at Venetia Valley found a way to conduct the black box experiment with (almost) free supplies. She took advantage of the free flat rate boxes at the local post office and used toilet paper tubes and cardboard to design the insides that were secured with hot glue. A little duct tape on the edges and viola! Black boxes! She also created a record sheet to help guide their discussion for her 8th grade students.
Glenwood's 3rd grade team adapted the Miller Creek powerpoint for introducing the paper bridge activity. I had to take the two videos out as the powerpoint was too big to upload. You can find the original videos on the Miller Creek link.
