I know many of you are playing the Water Cycle game from this year's Professional Development days in your class. Here is the link to the game and a nice record sheet from NSTA. Fourth grade at Brookside

The pictures reminded me I forgot to have the kids draw on the whiteboard! My kids loved this activity and we had a great discussion after.

I'm on the same boat with Ashley. I forgot to have my students draw their water cycle journey on the whiteboard. I simply had them draw their own on their paper. I think it would be more exciting for them if they got to see everyone's on the whiteboard. I will definitely make this adjustment next time in hopes of having the students more enthusiastic about this game.

My students enjoyed this activity more than I expected. I did it with each of our 4 fourth grade classes. I had kids work with a partner, carry one dice per partnership and the What a Cycle Worksheet (attached below) on a clipboard. This picture was very popular for recording the movement of their water molecule. http://www.srh.noaa.gov/jetstream/atmos/images/ll_whatacycle_worksheet.pdf
