The science notebook presentation was fantastic. I like the way the pages were set up with a table of contents and provided space for students to draw, record data, reflect, etc. I use science notebooks in my classroom too.

I love the cross-site collaboration on this project! It was very informative to see how different teachers and different grade levels utilized the same tool. Thank you.

I commented on this one in my survey. I have been doing IJ's for more than 15 years. It started as a way to be sure they didn't lose their papers. It has evolved over time with Cornell note taking, etc. Things gleened from the Social Studies teachers. This presentation offered some more very practical like "things to know about your left side", drawing models. Looking forward to implemented these for next year from the very beginning.

I have always wanted to incorporate science journals into our third grade science. It was so great to see how organized the information is, nice visuals for students, and great way to build conversations.

This was my first year trying science notebooks with my students, and it was really interesting and helpful to see how the notebooks are being used at different grade levels.

I really enjoyed your presentation and plan on using these with my class next year. Too often, loose papers get lost or thrown out and therefore can next be used as a connection to previous content. Thanks for sharing
